Causes of site dropping out of the search engines index

A website dropping out of search engine indexes is a very unpleasant situation. A site that once held leading positions starts to rapidly disappear from the first pages of search results and soon completely drops out of the index.

The most common reason for a website to drop out of search engine indexes is unstable hosting performance. If, during a search bot’s crawl, the hosting on which your site is located is down, the search robot concludes that the site does not exist and can therefore be removed from the index. Move your site to a more reliable hosting service, and in time it will return to its previous positions.

If your site contains articles copied from other sites, those that are banned by Russian legislation or have long lost their relevance, do not be surprised. Your site is doomed. In the .ru zone, a site with low-quality content will remain in Yandex for no more than two months and will disappear from Google much faster. Remove all substandard materials, and the site will return to the index after some time.

If you are confident that your site is filled with unique content, ensure that it is not over-saturated with keywords. Content over-optimization can also lead to a ban for your site.

If there are a large number of paid links (both incoming and outgoing) on the site, be cautious. Leave 2-3 external links on each page and remove the rest. Otherwise, the site may fall under search engine filters. Irrelevant links are perceived by search engines as paid and can also lead to the website being dropped from search engine indexes.
